Poplar Grove Cheese began in 2002 with a passion for great cheese, a small kitchen and a lot of practice. A few years later, Poplar Grove moved into a newly built cheese facility adjacent to the winery, and increased its batch sizes.

In this small family run company, 1-2 batches of each cheese are made per week, with lead cheesemaker Louise Pearson overseeing each and every batch. They handle everything from stirring the curd, to molding the cheeses, as well as all of the packing and shipping. In the summer months, production increases greatly to accommodate the wine season in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. We suggest trying one of there hand made cheeses, such as tiger blue, with a crisp Riesling.

Every member of the Poplar Grove family, entered into the cheese making business because they shared a love for food, wine and everything delicious.
