Cheddar Wookey Hole PDO

Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar is a handmade West Country Farmhouse Cheddar, originally produced in Dorset and matured 200 feet underground in the limestone caves of Somerset England. The cloth-wrapped wheels are matured underground for 12 months. The constant temperature and high humidity of the caves allow the porous cheese to develop its distinct, earthy aroma.
