Le Pont Tournant

The name Le Pont Tournant as well as the beautiful picture adorning the label are a reference to CN rail’s swing bridge in Noyan QC,  on the Richelieu River, which flows out of Lake Champlain. The swing bridge allows boats to travel to and from Lake Champlain.

Le Pont Tournant is a cow’s milk, double cream bloomy rind soft cheese. Under the thin, white, slightly crisp rind, you will find a gooey off white paste with a slight bounce to it. Slightly salty, it has a creamy flavor reminiscent of butter with slightly vegetal undertones.
