Ompah – Back Forty

Semi-soft, washed rind cheese made with raw ewe’s milk in Mississippi Station, Ontario. With pinkish-orange sticky rind that adds some pungency to the soft and chewy, elastic paste that has a meaty, smooth flavour. Named for a local town, and means “long step” in the Algonquin language.
