Having an artisan cheese making facility in the area she grew up in had long been a dream for Margeret Peters-Morris. Her family has multi-generational roots in South Glengarry Township, and her family’s farm produce the hay and grain that is used to feed the Holsteins that provide Glengarry with the milk they use.

Margeret founded her company in 1995 as a cheesemaking supply company, to support the growth of artisan and farmstead cheese makers in Ontario. Since she had been making cheese herself since the early 1990’s, it made sense to branch out with her own dedicated facility.

Producing amazing cheese that have won multiple awards certainly doesn’t stop Margeret and Wilma from being two of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet, in the cheese world or anywhere else.
